Well, a lawyer today works with attorneys who spend their entire day analyzing contracts and working on agreements; it seems like a mundane job constantly dealing with the red-lines & communicates with the concerned client. Someone over the age of 30 may find it challenging to balance their career and family life with the process of being a generation X lawyer. Being a Lawyer belonging to the millennial society is not easy. In addition to being tempered by the real world, we also tend to worry about social presence, security and opportunities we forego due to anxiety about the privacy in the ever changing world of technology and law.
Yet, we are always connected to some device. Even have an app that maps the nearest restaurants, hospitals. We know that the technology is constantly watching over us at all times.
As we become more aware of the wired technology our anxiety levels rise as our every move is being watched. Perhaps, we now realized that we are in a headlock, with the binding invisible wire. Ditching the digital footprint is not an option for a Generation X lawyer.
Well the good news is that the world around us is wired as well. We are no exception more than a billion people use similar technology.
