There is no one specific tourist attraction in Andhra Pradesh. The state is a witness to a huge variety of tourist spots that includes natural sceneries, beaches, wildlife reserves, temples, forts, hills and many more. It is because of these attractive places that Andhra Pradesh is one of the most sought after places in India. Though, there are many tourist places in Andhra Pradesh, the religious ones are more prominent than the others.
The world famous Tirumala temple here, dedicated to Lord Balaji, sees around a million Hindu devotees during important occasions. It is also the world’s richest temple. The coastal town of Vishakhapatnam is a perfect place for a relaxing weekend vacation. Some of the architectural structures are heavily influenced by Mughal architecture due to the influence of Mughal rule that happened here many centuries ago. The other famous temple here is Sri Kalahasti, dedicated to Lord Shiva. The architecture of this temple is simply amazing and attracts loads of visitors.
Apart from these, Vizag has also houses some wonderful vacation spots like Borra Caves, Araku Valley, Simhachalam Temple and Buddhist sites of Bavikonda and Totlakonda. It would be apt to say that Vishakhapatnam is one of the major tourism revenue generators of the state.

Vishakhapatnam is not only the second biggest city in the state of Andhra, but also one of the tourist hubs of the state. The excellent coastline of the place nestled within the beauty of Eastern Ghats and Bay of Bengal is a visual treat for the tourists. This place is replete with some of best beaches in the country.
Hyderabad Tourist Places
Hyderabad is the capital of Andhra Pradesh and is one of the most commercial cities of the state as well. There are many Hyderabad tourist places that have different flavours to cater to the different needs and preferences of the diverse nature of tourists who come here from abroad and from within the country. Charminar is the landmark destination of Hyderabad. This place was constructed during the 15th century to protect the place from a deadly disease. It stands at a height of 49m and contains a mosque inside for people to offer their prayers. The other important Hyderabad tourist places are Golconda Fort, Birla Mandir, Taramati Baradari, Archaeological Museum, Salar Jung Museum, Silver Jubilee Museum of the Nizam, Hussainsagar Lake, Nehru Zoo, Balaji Temple of Chilkur, many national parks and botanical gardens, Hitech city and many more. All of these attractions are unique in their own way as there is everything in it for the nature lover, temple lover, adventure lover etc. This is a place that keeps throwing many pleasant surprises for the tourists as they keep exploring it every time. There are lots of places in the state that are compatible to be visited in different seasons all through the year, which is why there is no off-season for the tourism department of the state. There is some activity or the other going on in the state always to keep the tourists entertained throughout their stay in the state.
