Of all the resources out there on Market America, there aren’t many that are non-biased and actually give you an idea of what the company is all about. I’ve actually only found four articles, and they didn’t have any clear or even factual information.
So where DO you turn when you’re looking for real answers to your questions about Market America?
You’re absolutely at the right source. I’ve put together an unbiased, factual review about Market America so you can get your questions answered.
I have to say, first and foremost, that if you’re looking for a “get rich quick” scheme, then you’re looking at the wrong compensation plan. Market America focuses on expanding through business owners who are qualified, instead of people who just jump from one thing to the next.
All of Market America’s products have a point value associated with them, and the distributor accrues these points in the compensation plan until they get paid a commission once they reach a certain point.
These points are very close to the dollar value for each product, so they accumulate pretty quickly. But that’s not the only way distributors make money.
They are also paid retail profits – in other words, an immediate commission each time they sell a Market America product.
Market America does not have any purchase requirements for its distributors, but they do have sales requirements, which are imposed by the US government. This is unlikely for a network marketing business.
Because of this, a distributor could never purchase one product from the company and still get paid. However, Market America claims that the key to their success so far is that they have great products, and that it’s hard to sell a product that you have never used. Keep in mind that it’s important that a company believes it has the best products – if not, I’d be finding a new company.
The products on Market America’s website are quite varied. They’ve covered almost every major industry, from auto care to pet care, home and garden to health and wellness.
A third way distributors can get paid is through their website, which the company terms as the “Mall Without Walls.” Market America likens this website to a franchise.
Their site is like a super-affiliate program wrapped up into a franchise system online. They are thousands of major stores that pay the distributors a commission when their customers shop at them through their websites. And they have a cash back rewards program for their customers as an incentive for them to shop there, which is totally unique for a Network Marketing company!
Now you have to be sure that when you are looking at ANY business, you look at it’s track record. Market America’s annual report is public, and they have had nothing but growth since they began in 1992.
The bottom line on this company is that yes, Market America is a legitimate home business opportunity. But with its wide range of products and services, and its unique compensation structure, it is ESSENTIAL that you have the right marketing training to build the business.
