Another reason why you do not want to do those things mentioned above is because your ex lover will only have the impression that you are acting out of neediness or desperation, which is definitely a great “NO NO” if you really want to win back an ex.
Instead, you want to do things in a more gradual manner. You should not try to rush things. Sometimes, getting an ex back requires a bit of patience on your part. First, if you have just broken up, it is probably a good idea to cut off all contact with your ex for the first few weeks to allow your emotions to heal.
With a clearer mind, you will be in a better position to decide what you want to do next and thus will reduce the chances of you making mistakes that drive your ex further away.
